This is the LAWLS favorite game show where you too could win a fabulous prize simply by sharing and playing, don't be a shy neighbor, jump right in and play! action-smiley-065.gif This is my last time as fun Friday hostess but I know Kaye will replace me with a fabulous neighbor who may be more reliable than me! Life has gotten to busy for me but it is a good thing. I'm not leaving the hood, just trying to let some responsibilities go as more are coming in. Thanks for participating in Fun Friday!

GAME RULES!
1. Must be a registered member of the Neighborhood to play.
2. You may win one prize each month, but you should play each week. Check the Winners list
3. Two fabulous prizes are awarded each week.
4. Neighbors must answer the Fun Friday Question on the forum.
5.
SongBirdDiane
will name the winners on Tuesday August 11th.
6. Winners will need to pm their address to Kaye to receive their prize. For privacy & safety reasons, PLEASE DO NOT post your address!

PRIZES! : PM miss Kaye if you are the chosen winners!

And now for the questions, creativity counts!

1.) What is an occasional table the rest of the time?
2.) What would a burger of ham be called?
3.) If dawn breaks, does dusk come together?
4.) Why does 'dyslexia' have to be so hard to spell?
5.) If you think you're a hypochondriac, then are you one or not?
6.) If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

7.)
Can you get cornered in a round room?
8.) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word?
9.)
Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, since chocolate comes from cocoa beans, and all beans are a vegetable?
10.) Why is a square meal served on round plates?

Wow! Can't believe it's Friday again already. What great questions, Diane!!! These are, indeed, head scratchers and are going to require some thinking. I'm not sure I'm going to come up with anything since I'm not a great "out-of-the-box" thinker. I'm sure we'll see some terrific answers, though, 'cause we have some really clever folks amongst our neighbors. Looking forward to all the responses.

1.) What is an occasional table the rest of the time?
A Coffee Table as it is so important to be in attendance.

2.) What would a burger of ham be called?
A Pig Burger of course

3.) If dawn breaks, does dusk come together?
Dusk Heals (Haven't you watched a sunset and relaxed???)

4.) Why does 'dyslexia' have to be so hard to spell?
That's a test to see if you have it or not.

5.) If you think you're a hypochondriac, then are you one or not?
Who can think when they think they are sick? Cause your not one unless someone else says you are.

6.) If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?
Failed well.

7.) Can you get cornered in a round room?
If you have whinging kids or a robber in the house, sure can.

8.) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word?
To see how many letters you can use as you are cutting it short and letters feel sad when tehy aren't used.

9.) Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, since chocolate comes from cocoa beans, and all beans are a vegetable?
It's not a vegetable??? All this time I have been eating 3 serves a day and you want to tell me its not?????
10.) Why is a square meal served on round plates?
Because society always tries to put square pegs in round holes so why not meals?

1.) What is an occasional table the rest of the time?
The rest of the time it's an obstacle - ever stub your toe at night?

2.) What would a burger of ham be called?
Well, a hamburger was not named after HAM, but after the city Hamburg, so lets call it a Smithfielder, after the ham capital of the world, Smithfield, Virginia.
3.) If dawn breaks, does dusk come together?
Like night, dusks falls. I know, 'cause it fell on me once. Hurt like all get-out!
4.) Why does 'dyslexia' have to be so hard to spell?
I personally don't think Lexdysia is all that hard to spell.
5.) If you think you're a hypochondriac, then are you one or not?
I think, therefore I am.
6.) If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?
Failure and success are both but steps on the journey. Thus, to attempt at all regardless of success or failure is to take a step and therefore a success!
7.) Can you get cornered in a round room?
The middle ground is the position of power...if you allow you allow someone else to command the middle, you're cornered regardless of the sort of room you're in.
8.) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word?
You call that a long word? "Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" Now that's a long word!
9.) Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, since chocolate comes from cocoa beans, and all beans are a vegetable?
Chocolate is not a vetetable!!!!!?????!!!!!
10.) Why is a square meal served on round plates?
Square = honest, straightforward
Round = circular = wholeness. completion
An honest, straightforward meal served on a round plate is therefore the very definition of a square meal.

1.) What is an occasional table the rest of the time? An AllTheTime Table
2.) What would a burger of ham be called? SpamBurger...I think that these exist.
3.) If dawn breaks, does dusk come together? Dawn breaks the grease...dusk must muck it all up.
4.) Why does 'dyslexia' have to be so hard to spell? I dn'ot kwon hwat ouy maen...
5.) If you think you're a hypochondriac, then are you one or not? If I'm not, is there something wrong with me?
6.) If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done? Put yourself further in the hole with a smile on your face.
7.) Can you get cornered in a round room? The real question is "can you get round in a cornered room". I've done this in the kitchen throughout my life...
8.) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word? Just to inspire us to shorten it.
9.) Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, since chocolate comes from cocoa beans, and all beans are a vegetable? Beans are the magical fruit. Chocolate is magic.
10.) Why is a square meal served on round plates? Because a square plate only holds Tappas or Sushi...neither of which I consider to be a meal.

I have no answers. I think the winners have already arrived.
My son-in-law has said for a long time that he needed square plates so he could have a square meal. So...I bought him a set of square dishes for Christmas last year. He's a happy camper!

Ok, you've all got me scratching my head but I'm up for the challenge . . .

1.) What is an occasional table the rest of the time? It's just an ordinary table sitting, waiting and sulking until it's next "outing"
2.) What would a burger of ham be called? Dare I say it? "Swineburger"!
3.) If dawn breaks, does dusk come together? No, dusk falls and dawn is the result and the announcement of a new day which brings healing
4.) Why does 'dyslexia' have to be so hard to spell? It would only be hard to spell if you were suffering from it.
5.) If you think you're a hypochondriac, then are you one or not? Of course, if you can admit to it, that's half the battle
6.) If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done? Succeeded at failing? Both of course. Duh!
7.) Can you get cornered in a round room? Only if you want to (Heck I would corner myself in a round room with Richard Gere cool-smiley-013.gif )
8.) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word? It's easier to shorten long words
9.) Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, since chocolate comes from cocoa beans, and all beans are a vegetable? Chocolate isn't a vegetable? Who says?!!! As far as I'm concerned it's part of a balanced diet no matter what label you put on it
10.) Why is a square meal served on round plates? So we can "Tri" to eat it? Puts another whole dimension on eating huh?

1.) What is an occasional table the rest of the time?

a catch me all.... if you cant find it check on the table.

2.) What would a burger of ham be called?

I have to agree with Kim a spamburger, or a burgerham

3.) If dawn breaks, does dusk come together?

dusk falls

4.) Why does 'dyslexia' have to be so hard to spell?

everything that a doctor says you have has to be hard to spell it needs to seem professional....lol

5.) If you think you're a hypochondriac, then are you one or not?

if your a hypochondriac you don't claim to be so no I'm not......lol

6.) If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

succeeded at trying....

7.) Can you get cornered in a round room?

if you want to be you can always be cornered

8.) Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word?

so that we really will abbreviate and not have to spell it out

9.) Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, since chocolate comes from cocoa beans, and all beans are a vegetable?

because if it was a vegetable we would not want it so much

10.) Why is a square meal served on round plates?

Papa John said it best......
