I have to disqualify myself of course! I don't have the greatest kitchen, but I can pretty much bet I have the best STOCKED kitchen and probably the best pantry as witnessed here:

These aren't the best pictures but I wanted you all to see that my pantry is actually a bedroom! Used to be my daughter's and it is right off the kitchen. The cabinets are full of canned foods and dry goods and all my gadgets. There is a sitting area for when I want to go through cookbooks, most of which aren't even in there. There is a great rug on the floor and we had a door added to go out to the patio so it brings a lot of light in. Serves kind of like a mud room I guess. The nice thing is that no one ever knows it is a pantry because everything is behind closed doors. We also moved the giant freezer out of the pantry when I put the wood floors in last year. It is now in the garage, giving us more room to move around in.

So gang, let's see some pictures and descriptions of your kitchen! This will be fun!

Well, since I'm providing the prizes, I can't play either...but thought I'd share my kitchen. The theme is...you guessed it...coffee. Here is one little corner of my special place.

This print hangs on the main wall and it is the inspiration to the whole room! I picked the color of my walls based on the edge of the print...sort of a pale tea green. The accent colors in the room are the dark burgandy.

Of course, this is the dining area of the kitchen. Rosie asked that I move her bed next to her dinner dish, just in case she should be sleeping when the dinner bell rang. wub.gif

Well, HERE YA GO! I WANT ME SOME PEETS! heehee nature-smiley-008.gif
My kitchen from the dining room! The theme is SUNSHINEY YELLOW (like me) WALLS and RED RED RED!! My dishes are the fiestaware in YELLOW, ORANGE, TURQUOISE and RED! I LOVE IT!! It's a tad dark because its in the back of the house and it gets the afternoon sun!

View 2, the OTHER side of the kitchen!

View 3 would be out my sliding door to my back patio....just enough for my pretty flowers, my spa and sitting for a small intimate group! Oh yeah and the kitties!

Lastly, the view out my kitchen window to the back patio....guess one of the kitties was HUNGRY..it's PAST feeding time as i'm off today! lol... ENJOY!

Hello all, I'll try to post a pix of my kitchen when I get home tonight. I just had to pop in and say I am "Kim", I am so jealous of March in California. I live in indiana and our March has been 35 degrees, wet and rainy nearly every day. I can't wait for warm weather. Turning green with envy, sick0022.gif Lola

I took my favorite kitchen with me when we attended the 2007 Boss Hoss rally in Dyersburg last fall. We were having a large get together at one of the motels and included a big tailgate party. Seeing as how I'm the premier BBQ guy of the bunch, I naturally volunteered to cook some of the meal.

Thought I'd throw this in too. A couple af lady friends on a V8 powered barstool.

Two of my dearest friends. One is acting one is not...can you tell?

My buddy Conrad took the nicest paint job competition with this bike.

I don't know if I'll have time to post pics. My kitchen is a work in progress. It needs a paint job so I can put up the pretty wallpaper border on the soffit that I've had waiting for a year. It is country themed w/ jugs & baskets & cranberry colored berries & has a green edging. I have matching green ginham curtains. The counters are Kelly green...yuk! I do have new appliances...white w/ black fronts. There is a linoleum w/ little pink flowers on white that needs replaced. I don't know which former owner put that down! But, I do have a little antique table that belonged to my grandpa and the antique step-back cupboard that Paul bought me as an "I'm sorry" gift after the only serious fight we've had in 34 1/2 years of marriage.

Wow, I am impressed. You ladies must be rich or something. And Julie, don't you have 2 houses, so this is only ONE of your kitchens!

Stu, I'm just impressed with your system. That's a lot of brat you've got going. No messing around.

I'm not even going to try to post my photos. I loved my kitchen a few minutes ago. Now, it's in need of a major overhaul! Wait til I show darling husband!!!

People! Your kitchens are just as I would imagine them!

Kim, it is beautiful and I love the colors! You had me with the first picture of the steaming cuppa coffee!

Julie, your kitchen screams sunny and CALIFORNIA! It is just lovely.

Lola, I look forward to the pictures. Hope it warms up there soon!

Stu, you have my vote for sheer originality! We will just have to see how your outdoor kitchen measures up to the home variety.

Jeanie, your kitchen sounds very ecletic and charming. Much like you!

Sandi, I am sure your picture would be just fine. I wish you would post one. Most rooms in homes are very photogenic.

Nancy, now that is a dream kitchen. I wish I could built it here! I would however have a different floor and the rug under the island would just have to go. I would dirty it up in about ten seconds!

Oh, no one is allowed in THAT kitchen.
No cooking allowed . . .
It's like one of those formal dining rooms that no one goes into.
I just took off the crinkly plastic covers for the picture.

Here's the kitchen I use:

My kitchen is really my mom's kitchen as I live at home with the parental unit. But, the kitchen rocks. I am going to try to take pictures tonight or tomorrow. The one thing I love about my kitchen is that it is HUGE and opens onto the deck! Look for my pictures - later!

Everyone - your kitchens are great.
