WHOOHOO RACHAEL! I am so happy for you! What a great feeling. I have found out through a lot of trial and error (I mean A LOT) that when one part of my life is out of control it creeps into other areas of my life until everything feels overwhelming and I just don't even want to get out of bed. I am inspired by your dedication to get your life back! Yeah you! mel

Rachael, Job well done! Congratulations!!!
To Debs & Smiles: I was just wondering if your personal goal is lower than your surgeons' goal. Could it be that your bodies have reached the place that they intend to stay? I see by your tickers that you are pretty close to your goals. Sometimes we WLSers want to get lower than our bodies will go. Just a thought....

This is wonderful news!! Your dedication is tremendous Rachael... and feeling better (to me) is so much more important than the scale. ((( AND loose clothes. WAHOO!! )))) Last time I was at my surgeon's for a fill, the Office manager who was taking my weight said basically that! WOW, Your size and your weight don't match... I would expect your weight to be much lower.... Why you ask? Muscle! Muscle weighs more than fat but it is smaller.. Something we all need to be reminded of daily! So Deb2 and Smiles and everyone else who struggles with the scale, when your scale doesn't budge, remember that your are a buff chick!! Actually when I look at this fact, I realize that due to the muscle weight, I probably haven't reached goal as fast as I would have otherwise. (I am still not there..the last 8 pounds elude me!) However, I never dreamed I'd feel this good or be in this size... so CELEBRATE! You are stronger and not losing precious muscle mass. Keep up the good work!!!!

Just a thought.... hehe I wish...actually my surgeon never gave me a goal but I can safely assume it would be under 200...my personal goal is around 175,,,which i think is a reasonable goal. QUOTE(rachael @ May 19 2008, 05:42 AM) I am so excited I can't hold still.. I have taken back control of my life and my weight. It has been over 60days that I have behaved and lived right. I have lost 30.6lbs so far the last 60 days. AND I FEEL GREAT... Not only the weightloss but the way I feel.. I know it is why other things in my life are falling into place. Who would of ever thought getting back in touch with my pouch and back in control of what I eat, could change so many things in my life for the better. SO stand up and take back control, IT FEELS GREAT..... THANKS HOOD FOR GIVING ME WHAT I NEEDED TO BE HERE THIS GREAT DAY.. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! Congratulations, That is excellent. I also owe you a Thank You for giving me some encouragement. I had WLS about 4 years ago. I did very well and accomplished my goal weight. I lost a total of 150.00 lbs. Now after this time, I find myself being out of control. I didn't think it could happen, but it did. I will tell you though, not as much out of control as It was prior to surgery. I doo feel I will get back in control. To date I have now gained 25 pounds, so I am 25 pounds above my goal weight. I still feel much better having 25 pounds to lose as opposed to 150.00, however, I do admit to the fear of not getting control back. I am seriously thinking of the 5 day pouch test. Trying to figure out what to do for the 2 day fast. I have the celebrity diet juice fast, but not really high in protein, but still may do the job. I also have atkins high protein drink and the slimfast has the high protein drink now, so maybe a combination of both, the juice and a protein drink, I also love the sugar free pudding, and if I understand correctly, I can have that during the first two days. I hope this works, Im really scared and have to do this Judith
